Canadian Forces Lightweight Combat Coat Mk III
This lightweight coat was used by the Canadian Forces. The Fabric is made of a Cotton and Nylon interlocking material. The combination allows for lightweight breathability, through the cotton, and a quick dry, durability with the benefits of nylon. When wet, these shirts will dry quickly. It has 2 amazing chest pockets (with pen/pencil slots) with fold-over flaps to prevent items from sliding out. It also has classic shoulder epaulets and reinforced elbows.
The Mark III lightweight combat coat was officially adopted in 1982 with the complete redesign of the combat equipment. This model coat was phased out of service in the 1990’s.
