The word FRESCO is derived from the Italian word Affresco, which means FRESH. This breathable fabric has an open weave that allows air to pass through, making it the perfect suiting fabric even on the hottest days.
Fresco is made by twisting several long yarns together in order to give it the strength needed to compensate for the fabric’s loose weave.Due to its high twist, it has a rather coarse feel to it and a rather hard touch. At the same time, this makes for a very dense and durable fabric.
